Compare timeframes
Daily and weekly frames describe longer periods than intraday frames. Their verdicts can disagree because each uses a different candle series.
Choose the period you want to inspect
Use 5M–1H for short intraday context, 4H–1D for broader movement and 1W for the longest view available here.
Inspect the underlying votes
The headline verdict is only the net balance of 10 moving-average and 10 oscillator votes. The two groups can point in different directions.
Treat pivots as references
Pivot points are deterministic levels from the previous completed daily candle. They do not predict that price will reverse or reach a particular level.
Indicator Glossary — What Each Signal Means for Bitcoin
Moving averages (SMA / EMA 10–200) — trend
Price at or above an average receives a Buy vote; price below receives a Sell vote. EMAs weight recent closes more heavily than SMAs.
RSI (14) — momentum / overbought-oversold
Wilder RSI runs from 0 to 100. Below 30 receives a Buy warning, above 70 a Sell warning, and values in between are Neutral in this engine.
MACD (12, 26, 9) — trend momentum
The engine subtracts the 26-period EMA from the 12-period EMA, then compares that MACD line with its 9-period EMA. Above signal is Buy; below signal is Sell.
Stochastic (14) & StochRSI (14) — range position
Both run from 0 to 100. Below 20 receives a Buy warning, above 80 a Sell warning, and values in between are Neutral.
CCI (20) — deviation from average
This page uses CCI as a mean-reversion warning: below −100 receives Buy, above +100 receives Sell, and the middle range is Neutral.
ADX (14) — trend strength plus DI direction
Below 25 is Neutral. At 25 or above, +DI above −DI receives Buy and −DI above +DI receives Sell.
Williams %R — overbought / oversold
Similar to Stochastic on an inverted −100 to 0 scale: above −20 overbought, below −80 oversold. Useful as a second opinion when RSI is near a threshold.
Ultimate Oscillator & Awesome Oscillator — momentum
Ultimate Oscillator blends 7-, 14- and 28-period buying pressure and receives warnings outside 30/70. Awesome Oscillator compares 5- and 34-period median-price averages; its sign supplies the vote.
Momentum (10) — price change
The current close minus the close 10 periods earlier. Positive receives Buy, negative receives Sell and zero is Neutral.
Bull/Bear Power — reference only
Elder-Ray compares highs and lows with a 13-period EMA. It is not one of the 20 votes in the current engine.
Ichimoku Cloud — reference only
Ichimoku combines trend and support/resistance components. It is not one of the 20 votes in the current engine. See the Ichimoku guide.
Pivot points (Classic, Fibonacci, Camarilla, Woodie, DeMark) — levels
