There is no single Bitcoin price
The reference quote comes from CoinPaprika and is cross-checked against Binance. Prices can differ because each exchange has its own order book.
Bitcoin is divisible to eight decimals
You don't buy whole coins: 1 BTC = 100,000,000 satoshis, so $10 buys a meaningful amount. Most wallets display balances in BTC, but many now show sats — the satoshi tiles above convert both ways.
The rate you pay ≠ the reference rate
